Stanislavski On Stage.
From the 7th of April to the 10th May 2008, The Stanislavski Centre, Rose Bruford College in connection with the National Theatre presented an exhibition of over 80 rarely seen photographs from the archive of the Stanislavski Centre at the National Theatre Olivier Theatre foyer.
The exhbition was curated by Robert McIndoe, designed by Nigel Hook, mounted in association with Routledge and made possible by the generosity of Evgeny Lebedev.
An exhbition catalogue entitled Stanislavski on Stage was published for the event. It is edited by Kathy Dacre and Paul Fryer and contains 21 pages of photos from the exhbition as well as eight essays by leading Stanislavski scholars and practitioners: Jean Benedetti, Anatoly Smeliansky, Richard Hornby, Laurence Senelick, Marie-Christine Autant-Mathieu, Katie Mitchell, Kathy Dacre and Declan Donnellan .
